Iv got an R1 2001 with a harris high rise race can on it, but still got the normal headers with the exup valve.

I have seen a set of micron full race headers and link pipe for sale, but im not sure if my harris can would fit as it has a long link pipe on it.

It has been dyno jetted and has a K&N fillter fitted, i was thinking of taking the exup valve out to see if it makes any differents, to save me getting race headers.

On the dyno it made 151 bhp on the crank and 138 on the back wheel.

Has anyone taken the exup valve out , if so how much (if any) differance did it make.

Don't take the EXUP out!.....You'll lose loads of grunt off the bottom

That valve is in there for a good reason
