FZ6 2005 Speedo/Mileometer stopped working?

I collected my 2005 FZR yesterday and as i was riding to work this morning the speedo and mileometer stopped working, the rev counter and everything else still apears to work.

It was wet so i wondered if water may have got into it somewhere, any ideas?

has this happened to anyone before?

    Configure browser push notifications
    Chrome (Android)
    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
