Glen Posted October 26, 2006 Share Posted October 26, 2006 Taking my 2000 Road Star XV16 in for the transmission recall and am thinking about upgrading to one of the speedstar stage competition configurations. I'm looking for anyone who has done this and what you thought about the change. I've already got the dyna 3000 ignition module, K&N air filter, larger carb jets, vance & hines long shots & factory OEM exhaust (running the stock exhaust now - with the longshots, no boby likes to ride behind me! Plus, it's a lot louder on the highway than the stock exhaust). I'd like to do the upgrade while the bikes apart for the recall. I don't intend on racing the bike.
