Posted September 28, 200618 yr Well I've just joined and am the new owner of an '81 Yamaha XS650 Special. Needs a little work but it's my first bike and was only $175. I'm here for advice, tips, tricks, and general ideas for repairs and restoration of this bike. Hopefully you guys will all be more than happy to help
September 30, 200618 yr Hi & welcome to bikes and the forum. I think the XS650 will be a good bike for you to learn on in all respects and hopefully you will find some good answers on here, not from me though as I know nothing . Andy
