My friend drives a Toyota Supra that just recently did the quarter mile in 13 seconds. Can my 1989 yamaha radian 600cc beat that? Would it be close? Anyone know what a 1989 radian can do on the quarter mile? Any quick tweaks I can do before the race to give me that extra edge?

Over a quarter I doubt it. You will have him off the mark but Supras are very fast mid range to top end. I take it his car is standard?

i would think so!!!

only mods i can think of is a race exhaust, im guessing its carbed so no chance of a power commander there.

carb needles widened. and perhaps a Hairy R's throttle clib would be ideal actually.

best of luck, let us know how you get on!!

I know my Supra at BPU would have just taken my R6 over the quarter mile in my opinion. With the single turbo on it'll distroy the R6 (if some old lady hadn't done it first with her car last week  )

As has been said will depend on the supra, what year is it and is it turbo, twin tubro on n/a?

I used to own a 1990 mk3 turbo which had a slightly bigger turbo and a gigantic intercooler hence could run some pretty good boost due all that nice cold air B)
