I am 19, going to college, and in need of more economical transportation. right now i drive a 2002 mustang gt, and with the parking the way it is at school, i have to get on campus a few hours before my classes start to get any parking. so, my thought is to go with my desire i have had since the first time i got on a dirtbike; i want an R6. but since i dont have much expierence riding on the street (i rode a Honda 650 enduro for a short while) i am asking you for any insight. i have heard to only get a bike if i really love riding, not just for gas prices or parking. i am still trying to decide which bike to get, and with a college student budget, i want to be sure before i buy. i dont want to buy brand new because i would hate to lay down a new bike, but i am also cautious to buy used because i dont kno how it has been ridden or maintained. so what should i do??? i am not very worried about the ride comfort, school is only a few miles from my house, and i am only 5'10" and 145lbs so i think a 600 would fit me well. sorry this is soo long but like i said, i want to be sure. thanks for any advise.
