2009 XT660R, with sports exhaust and K&n filter but no fueling upgrades, OK?

Recommended Posts

Hello People,

I'm new to the forum, am about to buy my first yamaha, an xt660r. Just went and looked at one today with 15,000 miles. It looked great. The only thing is i noticed it had a sports exhaust and K&N filter but i couldn't see any fueling upgrades? (the bike was at a dealers and they didnt know the full history of it).
Do you think that this would be enough extra air for it have damaged the engine at all?
It seemed to be idling nicely?
Thoughts would be really appreciated.

Thanks
