I recently bought a mk1 but on the registration of the previous owner it says that the mk1 has 16KW, wich is obivously wrong. The problem is i cant register it or ultimatly i can't drive it here in belgium because the maximum is around 11kw with the liscene i got. Normally the mk1 has 10.3KW @ 6500rpm or 11.7KW @ 7500rpm wich would allow me to register and drive it.
My question to you guys, is there any way i can obtain a official yamaha document stating that the mk1 has around 11KW ( preferably 10.3KW ) so i can proof to the office here in belgium that the bike is in fact around 11KW and not the wrong 16KW?

thanks in advance

Can you not contact whatever agency deals with registrations and tell them their printed information is incorrect? Maybe they'll simply correct the error...
