Age old story of bike meets Uber driver.

I have a 1978 XS750 and since a minor collision a couple of months ago my carburettors aren’t running well at all.

They are running too rich (I think) and the fuel ends up running backwards and out of the fuel box. I have taken the carburettors out and checked them throughout and given them a deep cleaning. All the seals and floats and jets all looked in very good Nick. This hasn’t resolved to issue and I really want to get the bike out in the sun.

Do anyone have any advise on the issue and a fix or any leads to someone near/in London who might be able to tune the bike back into its sweet spot?

many thanks in advance

Carbs are beyond me, but, out of curiosity, why do you think the bump is to blame?

Sounds like you need to reset the float heights
