lotty
Its been a few years since i rode my DT 175 1974, but now I can't wait again. But things have changed a bit i gather, that I don't need to tax it and MOT it, but will need to insure it. Do I have to register the bike with dvla as historic? Can I get very low cost historic insurance as probably only do 100ish miles a year?
NE0
and oddly enough...I answered a similiar post a few years ago on the very same subject. I also gave the process of how I got mine reclassed as HISTORIC. Have a gander, it may help.... P.s. I have a multibike insurance with CIA for my two classic bikes DT and Honda, limited to 2000k miles per year. It was £120 fully comp this year for both.
lotty
Thanks NEO. that DVLA info is very helpful indeed, and that insurance sounds just right.
