Recently restored my Diversion 600 after 11 years !  The fuel tap has been rebuilt with a refurb kit, but there is a leak from the tap. It's not the tap to tank, it's from the front of the tap. Tightened everything up as far as sensible. Also, the vacuum pipe gets soaked in fuel and detaches easily. Do I need to buy a brand new tap, if so, who sells a reasonable quality tap ?  The second hand taps for sale on the well known auction site seem to sell for about £40 (condition unknown). 1/ Are you sure you got a FULL tap refurb kit, with ALL the gaskets & rings included?

2/ Get a new Vacuum pipe...

its this bloody ethanol. my reserve pipe decided to part company with the tank one evening and dumped all the fuel over the garage and bike.

I've fitted litek ethanol resistant gaskets to my carbs and tap on my TDM
