How does the high beam work on DT50 2007?

it has always been a switch on my Yams,  much like the light switch you will find in a house, on the left hand handlebar.

down for dipped and up for main beam. 

all i can see on the left handlebar is only the honk, choke and turn signal. and you can just turn the key to switch on the electricity and nothing else

Needs engine running,  A/C  lighting ,
