Somewhere in cyberspace there's a how-to on fixing ignitor boxes.

I'm talking about cutting one apart, replacing what's needed & using epoxy to put it back together.

The machine that needs the job is a US model, 1983 XJ900R. Anyone have a URL or link?

I needed an igniter box for my xj 650 a few years ago and gave the opened box to a computer whizzkid I know . He reported back that the box was a very advanced type of "piggy back" processor and as such was unfixable.

Good luck - try for a used unit ?
