Posted May 16, 20213 yr New user... old bike, maybe known problems... My son has a 2012 WR125X. We were supposed to go for a weekend trip. After about 100km (60miles) it started to misfire... and around 200km (125miles) engine just stopped. It gives a spark, with a new plug and gasoline is smelling while starting. Battery is ”new”. It has 183cc Malossi cylinder, Malossi Force Master2, Gianelli’s exhaust. If I understand correctly, fault code is for Ignition coil. Local Yamaha service is saying it is not that, but can’t figure out, what it can be? Any ideas? Thanks for your thoughts in advance!
