Tristan Go
Hi, Looking for some knowledge on my Maj. 250's exhaust hanger main bush (through which the rear wheel spindle passes). For recent MoT (new rear tyre) I removed tailpipe and hanger, and then noticed that the bush had quite a bit of movement / play where the rear spindle goes through, - links below to vids I put on Youtube. Both sides move against the rubber, - the fixed metal bush, and the removal one on the other face. Simple question - anyone know if it's designed to have some movement, or if it's just worn out? Thanks! https://youtu.be/y4GF1Fb5BHw https://youtu.be/EOB1UmcfPkk Edited December 17, 2020 by Tristan Go

Moderator Snakebite68 Posted December 19, 2020 Moderator Share Posted December 19, 2020 Not knowing the bike, I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking at. But the 2nd video makes it look like a standard bearing with a seal over it... See if the seal comes out??? lol

Moderator drewpy Posted December 22, 2020 Moderator Share Posted December 22, 2020 looking at this fiche, its a bearing https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts/4012594/yp250-5sj2-2002-060-a/rear-arm-suspension should be able to buy from a bearing supplier if you can get the number off the bearing it self. heat up the alloy first and press out straight. oil seal will pop out using a small pry bar 93306-302YK
