Posted July 7, 20204 yr Hello, I am in the process of restoring a 1976 Yamaha V50, the cylinder barrel is badly scored, has anyone fitted a barrel and piston from a later 1980 V80? No V50 cylinders are available hear in Australia. Thanks in advance, Paul
June 24, 20222 yr Hi Paul, How did you go? I recently bought a V70 and the barrel is quite rusty. I have been looking for a cylinder kit with no luck. Going to have a go honing it when I get some tools together but it may be too far gone. Cheers Green
