Posted June 26, 20204 yr I have a charging problem on my 2015 yamaha tzr50, but I have no idea where the problem lies. From the stator to the regulator runs about 20-25 ac volts with a good bit of throttle applied, but it feels like the current never travels through my brand new regulator, with my battery only slightly increasing by 0,1 or 0,2 DC volts to a total of 12,5 if i'm lucky. There doesn't seem to be any breaks in the wire between the stator to the regulator and from the regulator to the battery. I have also changed the battery to a brand new one, and i'm considering changing the stator, or is 20-25 ac okay? The headlights only turn on after about 7-8k arpm also
