Posted October 9, 20195 yr Hi, recently signed up as a new member. Desperately seeking advice replaced ignition barrel on a ybr, but after connecting it blew a fuse, realised that it was due to the shop ordering me the carburettor type. I’ve modified the wires and bike now lights up, horn, indicators etc, but will now not turn over on the button or kick start. What’s the difference between the 2 different types of barrels and can I adapt the wrong one to make it work. Really appreciate any help, it’s driving me nuts.
