After many years of riding "conventional" bikes I recently bought an XV250 Route 66 cruiser but find I am not comfortable with the "sit up and beg" riding style.

I love the bike otherwise and so was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to convert the handlebars, footrest etc to more conventional street bike settings.

Or is that sacrilege ? !!

The conversion of HandleBars shouldn't be a prob.......outside of possibly re-routing cables or brake lines?

A nice flat Drag-style bar would put your hands back up on top of the steering head where they belong. ;)
