Should a crank shaft spin freely? Mine spins by hand smoothly but not freely is this normal? I’ve just put new SKF main bearings in

    No it wont spin freely like a wheel.

    It should feel really smoth. Turning easily.

    When i"v built my DT"s   they spin smoothly and free,  untill i install the new crank seals , then they go tight,,, ,is the rod got play,?  this is important,
