I’ve got a project bike and I need to remove the blind needle roller bearing inside the left hand crankcase.  It’s the one the gearbox layshaft sits in.  I don’t have a puller but has anyone managed to get the bearing out by any other means?

Cheers

yep, use an eye anchor bolt and a bit of heat around the casing. Then use a slide hammer

did it on my old Gilera

Are you shure you want to repace that bearing,  they run in oil , very little wear,  , and are near impossible to find,  or have you soarsed one,
