Hi all

My bike needs a new engine and I have found a 2016 engine for reasonable price with low miles,

Will it fit in my 2007 YBR125 (both are fuel injected versions)

Any help would be great,

Thanks

Ash

Don't know I'm afraid and I doubt many do to be honest but I bet you will need a new ECU at the very least. It's not usually a straight swap there's other things to consider. Electrics - engine mounts - drive chain alignment plus a shit load of other tiny little fiddly things that will make it frustrating but fun to do. Good luck..!

well I have taken the plunge and purchased the engine, just need to find a cheap and cheerful place local to install it for me

Brave man, well done. It will certainly fit....... In the end.

Knowing how unchanged the YBR and how lazy Yamaha are you may well get away with swapping over the electrics and a bit of fiddling.
