blackhat250
You can still get new from Mikuni , [Allensperformance] . or try ebay, it will be a VM22 .. http://www.motocarb.com/new-carburettors.html or China ...£28. --https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Carb-Yamaha-W-Air-Filter-fits-DT100-DT-100-Enduro-Carburetor/222060318322?_trkparms=aid%3D555018%26algo%3DPL.SIM%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D49567%26meid%3Dd03c29893c8c43f3859fc45f9c7ae77c%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D282360553860&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851
Moderator Cynic Posted December 21, 2017 Moderator Share Posted December 21, 2017 John, seriously, actually recommending a Chinese carb. Shame.

Moderator Cynic Posted December 22, 2017 Moderator Share Posted December 22, 2017 You need to buy a lottery ticket then Andy. On the forums I used for rebuilding the daughters bike, they are tantamount to putting sugar in your fuel. They wont perform like the real deal, they may get close but wont last and the finish is awful. Losing 10% of your power on a 500 isn't much but those guys running 50cc its everything. Wouldn't risk it. Had several 'Chinese bargains' that ended up costing far more in the long term so now I just don't. Except for my helicopter stuff, but that is pence anyway, buy 5 throw 2 away. Except rotor head parts, (foamy knows) lost a really nice flying heli from a blade link leaving at around 50ft in the air. Slow corkscrew into the ground like in a ww2 film, just needed some special effects and sound.
Moderator drewpy Posted December 22, 2017 Moderator Share Posted December 22, 2017 it was on the Gilera, had no issues tuning the carb to the bike. should have bought a lottery ticket at the same time eh!
