Posted August 18, 20177 yr Hi everyone, I went travelling in India a couple years ago and rented bikes multiple times, and despite the dubious condition of many of them, I have wanted to get a bike ever since I got back. Finally this summer I have had the money and time to buy a bike and fix it up. I got a 1981 SR250 in pretty good condition and have been learning to fix it up, which has been a lot of fun (and money). So far I've just opened up the engine and replaced a cracked valve and the gaskets, and am going to do some de-rusting and general cleaning up. I also have to get my motorbike licence... all in good time. Thanks in advance for the help!
