Can anyone help?

front brake light switch packed up,bought a new one,fitted it,with difficulty.

Brake light stays on,switch did work before i fitted it.

Anyone help.MOT due soon.

    You have obviously fitted it wrong..! Take it off, make sure it's still working ok, then try again. It's a micro switch with a very sensitive plunger if it's not straight or to far into the hole it will light off all the time.

    Yes take it off and with it in your hand, connect the wires to it and test it. Once confirmed re-fit it carefully
