Replaced the gas tank on a 2002 R1 and now the bike will only start with starting fluid. It will not idle or start on its own. Disconnected and reconnected everything many times. The pump is running and pumping fuel (93 octane).

Only thing I did notice is that when I removed the old tank and it still had some fuel in it, the fuel pump lines were not plugged and it did not leak any fuel. With the fuel pump installed in the new tank, it leaks fuel from the main line now. This may or may not be an issue, but thought it was worth mentioning.

I am totally frustrated. Any suggestions?
