Can anyone identify this mystery object.

Just been cleaning my 2007 Fazer 600 S2 and found this on the garage floor.

I have previously removed both wheels and brake calipers (Front & rear) to change tyres.

Alternatively it could be part of a treadmill I have just sold.

Any Ideas???

That looks like it comes from over a brake pad .. did you remove the pads ?

Yes, that was it!!!

 

Its back on now. It was a little bracket/clip that restricted the brake pad sideways movement. Must have fell off when I removed the rear caliper.

it used to be called a rattle pad .. it stopped the the brake squealing and juddering ... glad you got it sorted
