Shropshire dan
Hi all I've just put a mph clock on my fzr 600. It previously had original kph clock as it's an import. Will I need to change the speedo cable or anything else so it'll read in mph? Thanks for any help Regards Dan
Moderator Airhead Posted April 13, 2017 Moderator Share Posted April 13, 2017 why not check its accuracy against a satnav ?
Moderator Cynic Posted April 13, 2017 Moderator Share Posted April 13, 2017 Probably not, my TDR is an import (similar vintage) and that had a kph clock. Swapping out for a MPH unit was all I needed to do. You should have noted a specific speed in a specific gear before swapping the clocks, say 100kph (60mph near as) what the rpm's were. Then you could easily check after.
Shropshire dan
Thanks a lot chaps. I took it out today up the Horseshoe pass and it was spot on against my brothers bikes. Happy bunny now. Although I am thinking of selling it now as the wife doesn't like the riding position and my brother is selling his Thundercat which is a lot more practical. Thanks again Dan
