Posted April 8, 20178 yr Hi, could anyone help me out my xt125 has been sat for 2 years and i wanted to start it up the battery is dead and i can charge that but a friend says if i start it it can mess the bike up, could anyone give me further instructions on how to fix my bike without breaking it :/ ?
April 9, 20178 yr Charge the battery, check the oil, then see if it wants to start, will be a good idea to put fresh fuel into it first. You won't mess anything up by giving it a go.
