Posted March 27, 20178 yr I am going to purchase mikes xs non vacuum petcocks for my 1979 xs 750 special. what will i have to plug up to switch to non vacuum. any tips or problems anyone has come accross when switching?
March 28, 20178 yr Moderator just don't forget to switch them off use the bungs to plug the vacuum barbs where the lines fit over, they are the same used to plug the other vacuum barbs (what you use to balance the carbs)
April 8, 20178 yr Author i installed the petcocks but now the bike wont start. any ideas? ive been looking up info trying to figure out why, it was running but now it wont after the installation. and what happens if you forget to turn them off?
