Brandonk24 Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 I am going to purchase mikes xs non vacuum petcocks for my 1979 xs 750 special. what will i have to plug up to switch to non vacuum. any tips or problems anyone has come accross when switching?
Moderator drewpy Posted March 28, 2017 Moderator Posted March 28, 2017 just don't forget to switch them off use the bungs to plug the vacuum barbs where the lines fit over, they are the same used to plug the other vacuum barbs (what you use to balance the carbs)
Brandonk24 Posted April 8, 2017 Author Posted April 8, 2017 i installed the petcocks but now the bike wont start. any ideas? ive been looking up info trying to figure out why, it was running but now it wont after the installation. and what happens if you forget to turn them off?
