hi it may have been asked before ,but will the wheels from an xv500 fit my xv535 the xv is an 1983 and my bike is an 1992 if they do fit would my existing tyres fit the alloy rims of the xv500 any advice gladly accepted

Why do you want to change them ferg ?  If they're not a straight swap you could have a lot of hassle making them fit .  For the front it might be as easy to swap the whole front end  if it would fit . I'm not familiar with your model of bike but there's others on here who are . I've done a bit of mixing and matching with bikes, and like I said , it can be straightforward or a nightmare .
