Posted March 13, 20178 yr Hi Noob here with a question. My previous ride got stolen and I am considering buying a very nice '04 XVS 650 Classic. It has only 40,000 km (~25,000 miles) on the clock, has a full service history and looks very well maintained. What should I look for before closing the deal?
March 13, 20177 yr Apart from the condition of the chrome, the rear shock mounting can rust and its not easy to spot as access isn't too good. Oil leak from the Neutral switch on the nearside, easy fix with a new O ring.
