Is it possible to replace jets in the mikuni carb, that the xv125 and xv250 among others use without taking it off the bike, I'm sure u can remove float bowl without taking off bike,

You might be able to if there's enough room to rotate the carb. You could do it on my old Suzuki.

 

As to your specific model I don't know.

The answer is yes..remove outer air box (on xvs,not on xv)drain the float chamber first through the little pipe and away you go...as long as the cover screws are not (a) siezed up or (b)butchered by PO ..in which case it will have to come off
