Posted February 22, 20178 yr Hi My halogen headlight is really weak and i thinking about installing a Bi-Xenon kit instead. Has anyone done this on a XJ6N? Is there room for the ballast? I thinking about buying this kit. http://www.ebay.com/itm/OPT7-SLIM-HID-KIT-Motorcycle-9003-H4-Bi-Xenon-5000K-WHITE-Light-Conversion-/121107239273
February 22, 20178 yr Moderator i think they are illegal unless they have self leveling. Although on a bike you'll get away with it. The other issue is the focal length is different for Xenons. I got an osram night breaker and there is a big difference over standard lamps
February 23, 20178 yr Author Okey, i heard that osram night breaker has shorter life spann due to thinner filament. The thinner filament gives the stronger light. How is your experience? Maybe a H4 Led can be a third option?
February 23, 20178 yr I'd just go for the night breakers. I've had them in all my bikes and I've not had to replace one. You'll have the same space issue with an LED conversion as they need a massive heatsink. Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
February 23, 20178 yr Author Then Osram night breaker it is. Thanks guys. 15 EUR seems like a cheap upgrade. Think i start with that.
