Hello everyone,

I recently bought a DT 175 E  (american import 1978 ) and it had a brand new pattern carb on it .The guy who I bought it off gave me a box of bits and said the original carb  was in there. I looked and found a Mikuni carb  with the numbers 3JT 00 on it or that what it looked like.Does any one know if this sounds right.

    Im not at home but off the top of my head its 3j100 i think.

    A vm26 of some variation will be ok. Tbh you would do better rebuilding that mikuni than living with the pattern carb. Their cheap for a reason.

    I am having to look past all the 25quid specials for my daughters bike. Looks like it will be costing me to follow my own advice.:lol:
