Posted January 18, 20178 yr Hello All. Im a new member and posting for the first time. A bit of history first before my Question. Meny years ago when I was 17, I bought a RS 125DX, in Yellow. After Meny years of searching, I came across one exactly the same, for sale,and an in the process of doing it up. I had problems with the lights and ignition, and have discovered that the ignition switch internals are broken!! The original part No is 505 82508 20 . Mine has 6 wires that go into a terminal block, and 5 loose wires with bullet connectors All the replacement ones I can find advertised, only list 10 wires in total, and the wires are different colours and in different positions from mine, obviously this may be because the manufacture uses different colours from the original. Has anyone got a RS 125dx,RS 100 and had to replace the ignition switch? What type of replacement switch did you use? Thanks Any one got a second hand one for sale???
