Neighbour of mine back in the day had one of those Scott Squirrels, leather belt drive train and never ever failed to start. amazing machine. Love the photos NSD.:D

Yeh NSD,  that was brit version of the LC,   Be it a 600cc  2stroke twin, 34 bhp,     a rocket ship in 1926.   B)

Love the xt. Rode one up a hill in Africa 16 years old. Lent the owner my mtx50 whilst I was riding it. stalled it. Came back down the hill tried to bump start it in every gear. Wheel just locked with the compression. In Stockport halfords I watched a guy kickstart a tt500. Wow. What a technique 

Love the Scott in the first picture, I imagine that would have been astonishingly fast back in the 20's. But jeez, that C90 is an example of automotive abuse
