Absolutely fantastic. Worth my mates falling out with me for duking footie.

The way Rossi came back after screwing up and falling back to 5th was genius on two wheels.

Sorry guys,

If you want to see exciting bike racing then tune in to Men & Motors (Sky channel 131) TT coverage. It hardly does it all justice, but watch that and you will realise that racing on circuits is not the place where the best racing happens.

Cheers,

Andy

Tend to agree there Andy ;)

I recall watching a video of one of the past TT's........always love watching the on-board footage! B)

Anyway, this vid had some on board footage & commentary from Mike The Bike's TZ750 that he was running that particular year.......remember him saying from under helmet whilst doing 140+mph......that one hasn't really Road Raced until they've raced the IOM. :thumb:

Couldnt agree more. Cant believe that some pundits were starting to write Vale off after a couple of mediocre races (even if they were caused by shagged tyres and getting knocked off) In a couple of years there is a fair chance that, speed-wise at least, Pedrosa will be in a position to beat Rossi more often than now. HOWEVER, as a complete package I am a firm believer that Rossi is in a class of his own. He has the speed, class, racing brain, charisma and probably more than all of this is an entertainer on a level that I believe we had not witnessed in anyone before. OK, Doohan, Schwantz, Rainey etc were all brilliant riders but Valentino has the lot. No doubt there will be a few (and only a few) who disagree but hey, that is what makes the world go round. Anyone wish to comment?
