Hi Scotty, welcome to the forum. Not too happy about your choice of the word napalm after your name though.

Thank you for the welcome. What's up with the name?

Well, I don't know where you are from or how old you are but during the Vietnam war the US Air force sprayed Napalm onto villages and literally burned alive innocent civilians including children. Napalm is jellied petrol.

Just look up Napalm on Wikipedia.

I'm full aware of battle history. The yanks miss use of the substance has give quite a handy substance a bad name. I'm uk based 31 year old armed forces

OK, I don't want to get into apposing discussions on the subject on here because it's not what this forum is about.

But when I was in the RN in the sixties stationed in Singapore I met a few yanks on R&R and heard a few harrowing stories. But the most harrowing in the news at the time was a photograph of a young girl (approx ten years old) running down the road naked after being burned by napalm.  So, at my age (67) just the word napalm brings horror to me.

You say napalm is a handy substance, in which way?

Burning buildings down what it was originally intended for. My nik name has been scotty napalm for the past 16years as for the phot means nothing to me and not because I don't have a heart because it had or has nothing to do with me. If you don't want to get in to it about the subject what's with the essay and phot

It's not that I don't want to get into the subject but I don't think that this bike forum is the place to do it.

Maybe my generation of the armed forces think different than yours.

Oh grow the fuck up , really!!  You want to go o a crusade, fix your/our own fucking house first, the British are/have been world class leaders in a manner of nasty and NECESSARY ways to kill people (of which i was proudly a part off), its called war, its one of the things that need to happen to prevent the place where you live on being called  a ''Strasse''  in something called a ''grad''  as in Stalinfuckinggrad!!

Apologies OP
