Posted November 16, 20168 yr Hi im Matt just got my first geared bike I have a 2002 Yamaha sr 125. Also might sound like a "dip stick" question but where can I find the dipstick to check the oil. As previously had a ped where it stuck out like a sore thumb cheers matt
November 16, 20168 yr Hello I think you might be wise to get a manual for bike. You may find it doesn't have a dipstick, but a sight glass instead. Mine has the latter.

November 20, 20168 yr Author Cheers guys . Yeah had a long OK in my Haynes and it says that it has a viewing window. Was curious as my twist and go had a dip stick
November 20, 20168 yr Author It was cheap got it for £500 and my twist and go had packed in so thought I'd give a geared 125 a try ( only got a cbt ) bike was also in very good condition
