Posted October 12, 20168 yr Just a quick intro, my name's Dave. OK so it’s midlife crisis time. I’ve decided that now is the time to get a bike. To make it easier to pass my test I’ve got a YBR125. I love it! I have used it to commute to work which is 30 miles away down the A40 and it will sit at 60mph. It does wobble a bit when trucks go by but it just adds to the fun. When I pass my test later this month I plan to get a XVS950 Midnight Star (when funds allow). I plan to do as much maintenance as possible myself to reduce running costs so I may have some questions from time to time. Take care and have fun.
October 12, 20168 yr Hi dave,, good choice on the big bike, weight will help stabilise, well the trucks wont get near anyway ,,
