Hi again everyone I have ben thinking of buying a 1997 Thunderace and have been trying to get insurance quotes but on all proposal forms they ask about security can anyone tell me what security this bike left the factory with many thanks Chris

Nothing as standard apart from the steering lock.

It is always advisable to go worst case scenario, e.g. only say it has an alarm if it works and you have the relevant paperwork or datatag only if you have the certs and it is registered. In my experience it makes very little difference to the price you pay anyway.
