Help/advice required!!!???

Hey folks, fairly new to this whole biking malarkey, passed my CBT and got myself a wee ybr125 2006, getting on great with it until I switched off and took my key out and engine still running!!!!

Anyone got any ideas!!???

Also just before this started happening, he was struggling to start, battery going completely flat, having to kick start and if travelling with lights on(which I prefer to do) starts like misfiring

any help would be awesome, cheers
