Put halfords own brand oil in my dt175 mx

As above all fine before now wont shift into neutral when I topped it up. Neutral ok when stopped Beware!

Really!

Obviously its the own brand 80/90 heavy duty gear oil? Or could be their fully synth car 10/30 oil?

Without the detail this thread is pointless.

Ok gone to find the bottle. Original is castrol power 1 10w-40 4t. Halfords is 10w/40 4 stroke motorcycle part synth engine oil. 

Neutral was fine 7 days ago. Clutch drag  now I expect.

Sounds like the correct oil,  is it different when warmed up. ?

And I always tap into neutral on way down to a stop,

Cant even tap it down. Have to stay in first at lights.

Well drained it put the castrol power1 oil back in all is well after 10 miles. I didnt think it would be that fussy!
