dan28 Posted August 24, 2016 Share Posted August 24, 2016 I want to fit this carb to the dt engine but do I need to change all the jets first it had a 142 main jet fitted I was told to use a 170 on the dt engine I m unsure if I should also change the pilot jet it has a 45 fitted an do I also need to change the atomiser jet too the one fitted is 266OGk Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
blackhat250 Posted August 25, 2016 Share Posted August 25, 2016 Whew" dan, that's a grey area, it suck it and see really , I would fit a TTO temp sensor on the spark plug, so you know whats happening, I did , on my 400. its been a godsend, 500 degree F. is the terminal temp for 2 strokes, , if you get it about 300- 400.
