Hi Im a buying an old DT250, 1971 and it has a NOVA but I have to complete the registration process. Any one know how I do this, is it easy etc?? Originally from the states.

Yip  Saulito. I" done  a few,   , You"l need a dating cert,, I would join the aircooled club, of DT forum,  and the admin on there will do it, [ forget Yamaha uk]   .

Check for a sticker by the headstock, it usually has a date of manufacture.

Also Yamaha UK were fine when I enquired on build date for my US DT400E. Just give them the chassis and engine numbers.

Don't use VJMC, they dated my bike one year out (I should have sent them a 'One Year Out' T-Shirt !)
