My 2012 xmax sport 125 needs a full service , I'm at 10,000  on the clock.

I have been told by local bike company that a full service is £100 but for that all he does is

oil & all other fluids, air filter,   brake check  & pegs etc greasing.

I don't know much about scooters but this cant be a full service can it ?

If it's just a case of doing the above could I not just do it myself ?

never worked on scooter or bike before. can I do this myself ?

The first (and second) thing you'll want to do is get and read the service manual. :thumb:

Yep as above MANUAL will save you thousands in wasted money, most bike and scoots are easy(ish) to work on but it's a steep learning curve if you have no experience with them. As to your original question about a service, from your list that about covers it I'm afraid, same as anything else it's the basic stuff that keeps it running. That by the way is a pretty good price as they normally charge about £45 to £50 per hour.
