I live near Birmingham  in the midlands uk and currently own a yp125r xmax sport which I have owned for 18 months.

I am looking to learn a little about doing my own services on my xmax but need a little help as I have never worked on

a bike before.

Hi there,,.. yeh servicing,. you have to start some where,.  u-tube is good for info,  and a  tool set is a must ,

I was looking at changing the following - oil , vbelt , spark plug , air filter & oil filter. Do I need to do anything else at this point in time? A video on youtube shows a separate filter for the vbelt , but should I change it or clean it ? Any help is most welcome ,as I don't want to screw up my scoot Thanks in advance.

If its working and no slipping ,or noises , I"d leave well alone, ,,  plug and filters & oil,  be suffice,
