Howdy folks .mark from cork in ireland here. Found this site while lookin for info on a bike i might buy its a tw 125..currently own a 2004 fzs 1000 my everyday bike but my fast blast fix comes from my 2011 apprillia tuono..anyway ill have a snoop around here and no doubt ill come back somewhere with a few questions :)

Aye downie,, my mate has the TW125.,   GREAT BIKE, 180  REAR TYRE,:rolleyes: on a  125,   the serrow engines fit right in too,  if you need more power, B)

Cheers lads.. its gonna be a bit of a project as its been lying up for over a year but ive been told the engine was fine before it was parked..the inside of the gas tank is very rusty now so thats the first thing to be sorted."any ideas"

And the chain is rusted solid so that has to be replaced i presume .hoping to teach my stepson to drive on it too.seems like a good candidate for that..good to know the serrow engine fits right in ..my mate has a serrow 225 .loves it he does .

Well this really is an easy bike to work on .one or two spanners and a philps screwdriver an you would have it stripped ..had to order a second hand tank from the uk . Last one was full of pins holes from the rust .. new c+s and  air filter ordered gonna get the tank painted orange "i think" .have lots of parts off for painting too. Handlebars pegs and so on .labour of love for sure :D
